In July 2013, I successfully completed my postgraduate studies in Bioinformatics at the Department of Computer Science, achieving a First division (as per the Indian grading system).
I undertook my Master's Thesis titled "Statistical Analysis of Experimentally Verified PRE-Genes in Drosophila Melanogaster," under the supervision of Prof. Dr. Khalid Raza. This research aimed to conduct statistical analysis of Polycomb Response Elements (PREs) in fruit flies, with the objective of identifying corresponding elements in humans. Our study confirmed the presence of PRE motifs in clusters of two or more, exhibiting specific patterns, while single motifs did not correspond to PREs.
I attended my first international conference. This academic journey also introduced me to various operating systems such as Unix, and programming languages including Python, Bioperl, Java, and C.
Additionally, I gained proficiency in SQL for database management and explored cheminformatics tools, delving into the realm of computational chemistry.
